My terracotta clay folk are born from observations of daily life and the imagined stories which may come from them. Folklore and songs also provide inspiration. I strive to capture the little details, a pose, angle of head or gesture in which to portray a gentle humour. I hope to convey a spirit of positivity and tease out their individual characters and emotions so that you may find some similarities within yourself and those around you.
